The perfect way to start the day! A delicious, seasonal farm-fresh breakfast is delivered to your door, or you can request a butler to cook it in your villa. Alternatively head to the Orangerie at Il Caldaro restaurant.

Special lunches or dinners by the pool or under the moonlight. Italian and Umbrian dishes are prepared for you in the comfort of your villa by a private chef.
Restaurants Pizza Party!
Freshly baked pizzas from the restaurant can be delivered to your doorstep, including wine. Additionally, you can choose from a few starters, pasta, main course, and desserts. It is super convenient and absolutely delicious!
Vineyard Wine tasting
Enjoy a bespoke tasting of Red, White, and Rose Umbrian or Italian wines including the Estate's Rosè Wine, La Baccicaia, and Red Wine Celaio. Wine tastings can be arranged either in your villa or at the Estate's Farm. During the harvest season, between September and October, guests are welcome to join the grape harvest.

Despite its small size, the region is rich in traditions and must-see attractions for visitors who are lovers of food and wine. Umbrian wine, in its various stages of production and its vast varieties of high-quality grapes, is one of the great symbols of the region itself, and just one of its many attractions. We will be glad to arrange a tour of the most renowned wineries of the area, suggesting the best tailored experience.

If you've fallen in love with all the Estate's beautiful products, you can visit the Shop at the new Farm selling produce from the Estate: not only extra virgin olive oil, honey, and home-made fresh pasta, but also locally made artisanal products and natural cosmetics made with the Estate’s products.

Fresh Pasta Making Cookery Class Pizza Making Cookery Class Biscuit and Muffin Class The cooking options are endless. Most importantly, the aim is imagination and enthusiasm for experimenting in the kitchen with a team of skilled chefs and local cooks. Surrounded by organic farmland, vegetable gardens, olive groves and vineyards, guests are encouraged to forage on the estate to create an entire meal, before sitting down to dine. The philosophy at Il Caldaro is simple - to share the love of good food – Umbrian style!
Activititeiten The little pony ranch
Visit the cute, little pony ranch and meet ponies Pioggia and Odette and the lovely donkey Luna. They love meeting the guests, especially children, and carrots and apples! Children up to 6 years old may also ride on a pony on the lead rein in our meadows.

Honeybees are the lifeline of a healthy environment carrying pollen to the multitude of plants across the estate. This experience will introduce you to the complex and fascinating life of honeybees and will end with a tasting of our delicious honey. Availability for groups of 6 people at a time. For kids (and adults) it would be fun to first watch the Bee Movie (by Dreamworks), acomedy from icon Jerry Seinfeld.

Truffle hunting in Umbria is an age-old tradition and a unique and evocative experience. The truffle hunter guides his guests on a fascinating expedition through the forest of Tenuta di Murlo, seeking truffles with the help of his faithful truffle dogs. The estate, with its thousands of hectares, offers many trekking paths to be discovered, including the one to the top of Monte Tezio, the second-highest mountain in Umbria. Packed lunches can be provided by the restaurant, as well as maps and suggested routes.

The Estate and the surrounding area are perfect for all biking lovers, from beginners to expert racers! Our (e-)bike rental company will be able to provide different types of bikes and suggest adventurous trails. Guided tours are also available.

The Antognolla Golf Course is a magnificent 18-hole championship golf course designed by the famous architect Robert Trent Jones Jr and dominated by the imposing Antognolla Castle dating back to the 11th century. The layout features dramatic cliff-lined fairways, beautiful lakes, and stunning views of the castle and surrounding countryside, giving golfers 18 holes of pure pleasure. 15% discount on green fees, and 5% at the Antogolla Golf shop.

Lake Trasimeno, located in the green heart of Umbria, is a splash of inky blue amidst beds of reeds and charming white water lilies. Lake Trasimeno’s characteristics – its large size and limited depth – make it the ideal place for boat tours. A boat tour is a way to admire the lakeside beauties and villages and explore the lake by circumnavigating its island. At Lake Trasimeno, you will also have the possibility to rent sunbeds and umbrellas to relax on the lake shores or arrange water sports such as windsurfing, Kayaking, Water Skiing, etc.

Discover the real authentic Umbria standing in a wicker basket thousands of feet up in the air, looking down at forests, vineyards, and historic towns. Being up in a balloon, drifting quietly is an almost spiritual experience! The balloon flight normally lasts approximately an hour and ends with the traditional picnic breakfast or aperitif in a picturesque location with amazing views merged into the countryside.
