It’s all about being here.
Giorgio Andreotta Calò, the artist, created a new permanent site-specific intervention entitled "Tana" now in the Castello di Ama (Siena) collection.
Inside the work, I felt a deep connection with the earth. The liver is an organ that was used by the Etruscan people to define the status of the earth. Reading a liver of an animal was a solid proof of the quality of the land. Time is an immersive element in this work. Slowly your eyes adapt to the minimal light. Every step you take inside, marks a different pace and an unequal distance. It’s all about being here.
