It's not a hotel in the classical sense. This country house, designed with aesthetic sensibility, is located near the town center of Meran. Everything is furnished and arranged in genuine Meranese style, with hosts who care for their guests individually. Situated in a tranquil location on the city’s Via Verdi with its beautiful lime trees, this traditional guesthouse offers peace, relaxation, and comfort. Whether you're in one of the 11 rooms with its exquisite antique family furniture, in the light and airy breakfast room, in the historic orangery, or in the large Mediterranean garden, you never really have the feeling of being in a hotel. It's more like a family home, one that was revitalized after a two-year renovation, determined by the family themselves. It is a place where the old and the grand meet the unconventional and the new. It truly is a little gem this is an idyllic, cozy refuge nestled in beautiful Mediterranean gardens with cypresses, citrus trees, palms, and oleanders. 

11 Rooms

There are no standard rooms, and no furniture straight out of the catalog: each item in the nine individually furnished rooms has been chosen with awareness, care, and passion.

Breakfast

Just to make sure, you understand the importance of this detail: Breakfast is heaven on earth in this lovely gem and we can just recommend sitting in this lovely garden and enjoying a perfect start to the day. They are big supporters of the slow food movement and therefore only use local ingredients when preparing breakfast.

Tavolata

Every Tuesday and Thursday night, they offer a seated dinner for all guests (“Tavolata”) prepared by their chef. Antipasti, a main course anddessert. Very charming and highly recommended. On the other days, you can order small dishes between 12 and 6 p.m.

*"Tavolata" is an Italian word that translates to "table" or "dining table" in English. It often refers to a communal or large dining table where people gather to eat together, emphasizing the social and convivial aspect of dining.
