Little Gem No. 019 | Like a Local in Rome

Italy > Rome / near Rome

In the end, it all depends on what we really want. Things, gestures, and feelings don’t mean anything on their own. Luxury for example. Luxury, for us, is doing what we love doing. Luxury, they say, lies in what you can’t pay for, because

“there is only one real luxury, and that lies in human relations”. (Antoine de Saint Exupéry).

A 17th-century residential building near the Fontana di Trevi has been transformed into six stunning apartments, offering guests a unique opportunity to experience Rome in an entirely new way. Each apartment is thoughtfully designed to provide a living space equipped with everything needed to uncover the hidden identity of this magnificent city or to deepen one’s connection with it.

The concept behind these apartments is inspired by the idea that the best way to travel is by staying at a friend’s home. It’s an experience that leaves visitors with more than just memories—it offers a sense of belonging, however brief. The team behind the transformation aims to create a welcoming space where guests can explore the most intimate corners of Rome, delve into its rich traditions, and discover the hidden gems that showcase the city’s authentic character.

Whether visiting for a holiday, business, a meeting, a party, or a wedding, guests can choose to rent a single apartment or the entire building. Either way, this space is designed to feel like a home—a place where every detail is crafted to ensure a truly indulgent stay.

Please note: There is no lift.
