Prices 2023 | Price transparency: Plinius is completely transparent about the prices, we do not charge a booking fee or add any additional charges. 

All year-round price:  

10 Persons | 7 nights | € 492 per night 

10 Persons | 4 nights | € 550 per night 

Please note that booking dates in July and August are only available from Saturday to Saturday. For all other dates, a minimum stay of 3 nights is requested.

Additional costs:

Security Deposit: none, we trust our friends 

End-of-Stay cleaning and linen fee €40,- per person (this will be added to the booking)

*Yvonne is working as a non-profit cultural association, to give back to the community in Piedmont. The membership fee of this association (€300,-) is included in the rental price. This gives guests the opportunity to participate in the creative workshops that are on offer. As well as a bottle of their Pinot Nero, Riesling, and Barbera, There is also amazing shampoo and conditioner available in each bathroom.

Booking Confirmation 

To confirm your reservation, we ask for a payment of 50% of the total amount.  The final payment must be received not less than 60 days prior to arrival.

Security deposit: € XXXX to be paid in Euro in cash on arrival and refunded at the end of the holiday.

The payment can be paid by Bank transfer.

Cancellation Policy:

60 days prior to your arrival: 50% deposit refunded

less than 60 days prior to your arrival: no refund

Rental Period:

Check-in time: from 15:00 to 18:00  (later upon request ~ extra charge might apply)

Check-out time: 08:00 to 11:00 

Rental Party

The booking is only for the people named on the booking form.

No parties or events – unless otherwise agreed upon. It is possible to rent out the property for Shootings | Advertising campaigns | Films | Conferences and cultural events | Other events and parties 

Pets are only allowed upon request.

Maximum Occupancy 

The maximum number of occupants in this property is 10 adults (no kids). This occupancy level is to ensure the comfort of Guests. If the number of vacationers exceeds the booking capacity, additional guests will not be accepted. Any amendment to or breaking of the contract will be at the Guest’s initiative.

Access

The Guest should allow the Homeowner access to the property for purposes of renewal, repair, and inspection. The Homeowners shall exercise this right of access in a reasonable manner.

Tourist Tax 

A Tourist Tax per person/per night is levied by the local tourist office on all adults over the age of 18. This is payable in euros by the Guest at the end of the holiday prior to departure. City Tax Municipality of Portovenere: € XXX  per day/ per person.

Travel Insurance

It is strongly advised that holiday insurance be taken out by the Guest to cover holiday cancellation and all accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. Plinius will provide any documentation needed by the Guests' insurers should it be necessary to cancel. Additionally, the Homeowner/Plinius also cannot be held responsible for conditions outside their control e.g., cancelled, or delayed flights/ferries, restrictive weather or where the Guest is unable to arrive at the property during the period that it is booked. Your booking will not be cancelled by the owner except in exceptional circumstances beyond our control. Notification will be given of the cancellation as soon as possible and we will promptly refund all payments made for your holiday. Our liability for cancellation will be limited to payments made to us.

Lost Property

The Homeowner/Plinius is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest. If the Homeowner finds anything that has been left behind during the Guests stay, the Guest will be contacted to see if the item(s) should be returned and will be done so at the Guests expense. If any of the property is accidentally taken away by any member of the Guest's party, the Homeowner must be contacted immediately upon the discovery to discuss return options.

Villa Manual

Provided upon arrival at the villa. This contains information on how to use appliances, check-out procedures and other useful information.

Behaviour

The Homeowner reserve the right to terminate the stay if the Guest or members of the Guests party are believed to be causing a nuisance or are not treating the property with due respect. In this event, no refund will be made for the unused portion of the stay.

Safety

For the personal safety of the Guest, smoke detectors and fire extinguishers have been provided. Smoke detectors are a legal requirement.

Liability

The Homeowner/Plinius cannot be held responsible for any noise or disturbance originating from the boundaries of the property or noise which is beyond their control. The Homeowner/Plinius also cannot be held responsible for wild animals and insects that may enter the property.

Complaints

Any problem or issue should be brought to the attention of the Homeowner / Plinius as soon as it becomes apparent, so that it may be rectified quickly. Any complaints not reported to us/the property manager at the time and only reported after the client has returned from holiday will not be considered by the proprietor.

Minimum Age

Bookings cannot be accepted from persons under eighteen years of age.

Damages and breakages 

Please treat the facilities & accommodation with due care so that other guests may continue to enjoy them. If you notice something is missing or damaged in your accommodation, please let us know immediately so that we can take the appropriate action. If there has been any damage or breakages during your stay, we would be grateful if you could report them promptly, especially before check-out. The accommodation will be inspected at the end of the holiday & you may be charged for any loss or damage.

Security Deposit 

We trust our guests will treat the property with respect as they would do with their own home or a friend’s home. However, we understand that sometimes accidents happen. Should you break/stain anything, please let us know immediately – If it’s a minor we usually don’t charge.  Please do let us know so we can replace/clean it before the next guest arrives. If it is a larger issue, we would like to discuss the costs with you before you leave in order to avoid any issues at a later stage. Thank you!  (Security deposit: €XXX)

Additional Cleaning costs 

The owner reserves the right to make a charge to cover additional cleaning costs if the client leaves the property in an unacceptable condition.

Keys

Please note that if any keys issued are not returned at the end of your stay, then the cost of replacement will be charged to you.

Temporary defect

The owner shall not be liable for any temporary defect or malfunction of any equipment, machinery or appliance in the building, grounds or hot tub/pool. No compensation will be given for any temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, internet connection or television service
