No. 094 | A Timeless Farmhouse

Italy > Tuscany
users 18 bed 7 bath 7

Tucked away in a secluded valley among the rolling Chianti hills, this elegant six-bedroom farmhouse tells a story of family, craftsmanship, and quiet Tuscan beauty. Once a traditional rural estate, it has been lovingly restored into a soulful home where contemporary comfort meets rustic charm. With bold colours, vintage pieces, and a hint of bohemian flair, every room reflects the personality and passion of its owners — a perfect blend of warmth, artistry, and refinement.

The Space

Spread across two floors, the main house is bathed in natural light, designed with thoughtful attention to texture, tone, and detail. At its heart is a generous double-height sitting room, where an open fireplace and soft, inviting furniture create a space to gather, read, or share long dinners around the table for fourteen. A cosy snug offers a quieter retreat with Sky and Netflix, while the fully equipped kitchen — with its range cooker, double fridges, and every tool a cook could dream of — celebrates the pleasure of slow, seasonal cooking.

A larder, wine store, and laundry room add to the home’s practical ease, making it ideal for families or groups of friends seeking a truly lived-in Tuscan experience.

The Bedrooms

The farmhouse comfortably sleeps 18 guests across six bedrooms, each with its own charm and character:

Ground Floor:

Guest Bedroom 1: A double bed with an ensuite bathroom, perfect for those seeking easy access to the main living areas.

First Floor (Main House):

Master Bedroom 2: Super king-sized bed with a luxurious ensuite featuring a bath, walk-in shower, and double sinks.

Guest Bedroom 3: King-sized bed with ensuite bathroom and shower.

Guest Bedroom 4: Twin beds with ensuite bathroom including bath and WC.

Guest Bedroom 5: Two bunk beds (sleeping four) with a nearby shower room offering a WC, sink, and walk-in shower.

Small Single Bedroom 6: Typically used for storage, but can be made available upon request.

Garden Capanna (Guest Bedroom 7):
Just steps from the main house, the private capanna offers a king-sized bed, ensuite bathroom with bath, freestanding shower, WC, and an outdoor shower — a secluded retreat ideal for couples or those seeking extra privacy.

Every bedroom reflects the farmhouse’s bohemian elegance, with thoughtful design, bold colours, and attention to detail, creating a restful, welcoming space for every guest

Outdoor Living

The farmhouse opens onto 33 hectares of private land, with rolling lawns, rosemary and roses, and the scent of lavender carried by the breeze. The infinity pool (14 x 7m) stretches toward the valley, inviting long afternoons under the Tuscan sun.
There’s a boules piste, a ping pong table, and a generous pergola shaded by vines — the perfect setting for a leisurely tavolata lunch. Two marble tables seat up to eighteen guests for dinners that linger into the evening.

A vegetable garden and chicken coop offer fresh produce and eggs, while the surrounding olive and fruit trees complete the sense of living in rhythm with the land.

The Surroundings

The villa lies deep in the Chianti region, just outside Gaiole in Chianti, a small town known for its local shops, family-run trattorias, and the famous Eroica vintage cycling race. Nearby are Siena, Radda, Castellina, and Arezzo — each steeped in history, markets, and timeless Italian life.

Guests can spend days wandering through vineyards, discovering nearby hilltop towns, or simply staying close, walking through the olive groves and enjoying the stillness of nature.
