N° 072 | An Enchanting Place
The current owners discovered this old farm in 2005. It's a dream farm with breathtaking views and it is a protected building. Their vision has always been to combine the best of Italy, from tradition to modernity. The villa is a mix of all the local talents they could find in the region. The rural architecture of this stone building is protected by Italy's Cultural and Historic Heritage. The 300-year-old farmhouse – partially destroyed by a fire in 1995 – was renovated over four years and transformed into a holiday home. Now the old blends with the new – sometimes merging, sometimes contrasting. The old walls, the modern additions, and the restrained, simple furnishings form a balanced composition.
Granting stays beyond your imagination!
The Space
Nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of the Marches, the villa is a captivating retreat offering beautiful panoramic views. Situated near the medieval town of Treia, this 300-year-old farmhouse underwent a transformative renovation by Swiss architects Markus Wespi and Jérôme de Meuron. They seamlessly blended the old with the new, preserving the listed protective outer shell while introducing modern elements. The result is an exclusive holiday house where tradition harmonizes with modernity. The interiors, adorned in brilliant white, reflect light, creating bright and inviting spaces while honoring the original charm. The living room with a fireplace and four bedrooms occupy the southern part, while the kitchen and dining hall grace the northern section. Outside, an infinity pool provides a refreshing contrast against the ancient walls. The villa is a dream farm discovered in 2005, and stands as a testament to the perfect fusion of Italian tradition and contemporary luxury.
The villa, accommodating 11 guests in five bedrooms, encapsulates the essence of the region, offering a blend of talent and sophistication. From signature furnishings to a state-of-the-art kitchen, every detail exudes elegance.
