Major upgrades include a fully renovated kitchen with new wall colours, refreshed garden with new plants and pavement, and air conditioning in every room. New styling and furniture will be completed in time for guests arriving in March.

On a quiet, private street in Milan, this 1920s residence offers a rare sense of calm amidst the city’s vibrant rhythm. With its elegant four-floor structure and a garden shaded by a magnificent magnolia tree, it is a haven for those visiting for study, work, or simply a thoughtful city retreat. The villa also provides an ideal backdrop for photography or video shoots, corporate meetings, and training sessions, with the possibility of reserving street parking for one vehicle.

 

The Space

The villa’s ground floor serves as a shared living space, with each room decorated in a warm, welcoming palette and finished with Venetian marble walls and aggregate marble floors. High ceilings and large windows fill the rooms with natural light, offering views of either the garden or the quiet street. A stone staircase with wrought iron and wood bannisters connects all floors, providing a graceful flow between spaces.

The living room opens from the main hallway and looks onto the garden. Its centerpiece is a hand-painted antique Chinese wallpaper, complemented by a wooden fireplace inlaid with bronze and mother-of-pearl. Opposite, the dining and sitting room is generous in scale, featuring a marble fireplace perfect for the cooler months. The kitchen, accessible both from the dining area and the hallway, is fully equipped with all essential appliances, tableware, and cooking utensils.

 

The Rooms

The main floor accommodates three bedrooms and a bathroom and a seperate toilet, all with parquet flooring.

Bedroom One: On the right, a large, light-filled room with rose-pink calico wallpaper, furnished with a single bed, night table, and armoire. Its balcony overlooks the private street.

Bedroom Two: Also on the right, features blue patterned wallpaper on an ivory background. Two single beds can be joined to form a double, with a chest-of-drawers, bookcase, and large closet. Upon request, it can be connected to Bedroom One.

Bedroom Three: To the left, adorned with floral wallpaper in shades of pink, green, and blue, with two single beds (convertible to a double), a desk, and an armoire. Its balcony overlooks the magnolia-shaded garden.

The bathroom, at the end of the hallway, has sky-blue walls, parquet flooring, and all necessary sanitary fixtures.

The top floor mirrors the main floor with three further bedrooms and a bathroom. One room features sloping ceilings, and the landing houses a splendid piano.

Bedroom Four: Pink and blue floral wallpaper, single bed, and antique dressing table.

Bedroom Five: Pink and green floral wallpaper, single bed, closet; shares a long balcony with Bedroom Four.

Bedroom Six: The largest, with ivory, fuchsia, and purple floral wallpaper, two single beds (convertible to a double), a functioning English-style marble fireplace, and a garden view.

The top-floor bathroom has parquet floors, light green walls, and all essential fixtures.

 

Outdoor Area

The garden is a serene retreat,  landscaped with fresh plants and paved areas, providing shaded seating under the magnolia tree. It is a private oasis in the heart of the city, perfect for morning coffee, leisurely afternoons, or quiet evenings.

After the booking request is received we will confirm the availability and total price with the owner. You will then receive a confirmation and the total amount of your booking by email. A deposit of 30% of the reservation sum is requested upon confirmation (within 48 hours). The remainder must be paid no later than 60 days before the start of your stay. When booking within 60 days, the total reservation sum must be paid immediately. In case of cancellation more than 60 days before the start of the stay, 50% of the deposit will be returned*. In case of cancellation within 60 days, no refund will take place. *Applies to most properties, but not all. We therefore recommend cancellation insurance.
