N° 069 | Living like Italian aristocracy

Tuscany
users 16 bed 8 bath 9

What happens when Carlo Pallavicino,  an Italian sports executive, inherits his grandparents’ estate outside Florence? He turned to his interior designer sister, Ilaria Miani. They spent their summers here at their grandparent's estate. Their grandfather made olive oil from the property’s olive trees, grew Sangiovese grapes for wine, and raised chickens so that his family would always have fresh eggs. The 32-acre estate was a giant playground for them and they have so many beautiful memories here.

They set out together to renovate the beautiful 18th-century villa, a place where leisure is an art. It was featured in Elle Decor because this beautiful, elegant Florence Villa is now a place where many people can create their own beautiful summer memories and make the 32-acre estate their playground. Just like Ilaria and Carlo did when they grew up here.

“A very big slice of heaven”

The Space

Ground Floor: Upon entering the Villa through the main entrance, you'll find a spacious and well-furnished living room on the left, complete with a fireplace and a flat-screen satellite television. To the right of this hall is another tastefully appointed living room featuring an antique card table.

Adjacent to the living spaces is a generously sized dining room capable of accommodating 20 diners, seamlessly connected to a recently renovated, well-equipped kitchen. For those seeking a quiet retreat, there is a small library equipped for guests using their computers. A bedroom with a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom, and a flat-screen television is located on this floor. This particular bedroom, with its exterior door leading to the gardens and pool, is specially designed for handicapped guests.

First Floor: Ascending to the first floor, you'll discover four bedrooms with king-size beds, each equipped with en-suite bathrooms and flat-screen televisions. Additionally, there are two bedrooms with twin beds, also featuring en suite bathrooms and flat-screen televisions. Among these, our standout favorite is the corner bedroom, boasting windows that offer captivating views in three different directions. The bathrooms on this floor are adorned with bathtubs and furnished with ceramic tiles crafted in Naples.

Mezzanine Floor: On the mezzanine floor, there is a bedroom with a queen-size bed, its private en-suite bathroom, and a flat-screen television.

Tower: Ascending one more staircase to the tower, you'll encounter a spectacular Belvedere living room. This space provides a full 360-degree view of the estate and the enchanting Chianti hills, offering a truly breathtaking perspective.

Outdoors

Elegant Surroundings: Nestled within meticulously tended gardens, the villa offers a serene retreat. The outdoor ambiance is enhanced by a quaint open-air theater, a generously sized heated swimming pool with a depth of 2.5 meters, and a recently constructed, picturesque grass tennis court.

Outdoor Pleasures: A spacious outdoor dining area beckons guests to savor al fresco meals in the midst of nature's beauty. For the younger ones, swing sets add a playful touch to the surroundings, ensuring entertainment for children.

Expansive Grounds: Surrounded by extensive vineyards and olive groves, the villa's vast estate evokes a sense of awe. The remarkable aspect is that, despite the grandeur of this estate, it's hard to believe you are still in such close proximity to Florence. The juxtaposition of the expansive grounds and the villa's proximity to Florence creates a harmonious blend of natural beauty and accessibility.

The Villa is located at the best place for visiting Tuscany, eight kilometers away from the center of Florence.
