On Avenue des Fleurs in Nice, just a short walk from the Promenade des Anglais, Hôtel Amour has established itself as one of the Riviera’s most recognisable contemporary places to stay.

Part of the Amour collection founded between Paris and the Côte d’Azur, the hotel continues a specific visual and cultural language; playful, cinematic, and deliberately unrefined in its approach to luxury.

The Space

Inside, the hotel unfolds across a series of layered spaces: a courtyard restaurant, corridors painted in soft Riviera tones, and interiors filled with mid-century furniture, collected objects, and a dense visual archive of photography and art.

There is a clear aesthetic signature throughout; pink marble bathrooms, vintage pieces from the 1930s to 1950s, and a recurring visual motif of pin-up imagery that defines much of the brand’s identity.

The atmosphere is social and continuously active, with guests, locals and visitors moving between restaurant, bar and courtyard throughout the day.

The Rooms

The hotel offers around 38 rooms and suites, each designed with the same visual vocabulary: pastel tones, eclectic furnishings, and an absence of televisions or telephones, reinforcing the sense of disconnection from conventional hotel structure.

Some rooms open onto balconies, while others overlook internal patios or the surrounding streets. The aesthetic remains consistent; expressive, slightly theatrical, and unmistakably tied to the Amour identity.

Rooftop & Atmosphere

Above the hotel, a rooftop pool and dining area add another layer to the experience.

In the evenings, it becomes a social space, with a Greek-inspired menu that leans into shared dining, Mediterranean flavours, and a relaxed, music-led atmosphere.

Rather than functioning as a quiet rooftop retreat, it continues the hotel’s rhythm: lively, informal, and community-driven.

Amour Plage

A hotel that does not end at its entrance, but continues onto the beach; A few minutes away on the Promenade des Anglais, Amour Plage extends the hotel into its most iconic setting.

Here, striped parasols, pastel deckchairs and continuous service from morning to night create a beach club that feels like a natural continuation of the hotel rather than a separate destination. Breakfast by the sea, long lunches under umbrellas, and late afternoon DJ sets define the rhythm of the day, with the Mediterranean always present as backdrop.

The hotel sits in a quieter residential part of Nice, just inland from the Promenade des Anglais.

It is close enough to the sea to feel coastal at all times, yet slightly removed from the most tourist-heavy stretches of Old Nice, giving it a more local rhythm while still remaining central.
