Little Gem No. 051 | Authentic escape off the beaten path

Italy > Sicily
users 6 bed 3 bath 3

In 2016, Margot and Massimiliano set out to honor family tradition by restoring and revitalizing a property originally built by Massimiliano’s father in the 1970s. Immersed in the tranquil beauty of Pantelleria—where black volcanic stones meet arid landscapes at the edge of the sea—they rekindled their deep connection to the island and embraced its unique farming and building techniques. Inspired by the simplicity and rural charm of this new life, they transformed the house into a remarkable agriturismo, blending tradition with modern comforts.

Every renovation was carried out with sustainability in mind, preserving the island’s rich heritage—from restoring the traditional Dammusi to reviving abandoned olive groves and an archaeological park. The result is a serene retreat that celebrates Pantelleria’s culture while offering guests luxurious accommodations.

Discover Pantelleria, the Unexpected Sicily

Set within a 5,000-year-old archaeological park on the volcanic island of Pantelleria, Parco dei Sesi is a unique, family-owned retreat featuring 12 elegant rooms.
