Tucked away in a centuries-old olive grove in southeastern Sicily, this soulful retreat is a place where past and present gently blur. It was once the heart of a working estate—home to farmers, artisans, and the rhythms of rural life. Today, it has been lovingly reimagined as a sanctuary of simplicity, design, and deep connection to nature.

Every corner here tells a story. From the restored kitchen that now houses the Pool Suite, to the repurposed 19th-century millstone where guests gather for breakfast, this is a place that honours its roots while offering a quietly luxurious stay. The guiding spirit? Love. Of the land, of the craft, and of life’s most essential pleasures.

The Space

The estate is small and personal, with four one-of-a-kind suites that reflect a deep respect for tradition and an eye for contemporary design. Spread across the original buildings, each space has its own mood and memory—enhanced by furniture from Cassina and Cappellini and the poetic lighting of Davide Groppi.

Hidden among the ancient olive trees, you'll also find six eco-glamping tents for a fully immersive experience in nature, where silence and starry skies are part of the stay.

The Bedrooms

Amare
The former estate kitchen has been transformed into this 70 sqm Pool Suite—both intimate and expansive, full of character and soul. Original features like the tannura (the hearth) and antique buffetta ground the space in history, while contemporary touches and sculptural lighting give it warmth and elegance. A space to gather, slow down, and feel at home.

The Pool Suite
This generous 70 sqm suite invites deep rest. Minimal and elegant, with natural materials and curated design details, it opens directly onto the garden and private pool area. It’s the kind of place where you can wake up with the birds, nap in the afternoon light, and forget what time it is.

Tangerine
Overlooking the old baglio, this 40 sqm Deluxe Suite retains vaulted ceilings and antique floors that whisper of the past. Its name is a nod to Sicily’s citrus-scented countryside. Inside, tradition meets contemporary design in a way that feels fresh, light, and full of joy.

Geranium
A charming 32 sqm Junior Suite nestled in the old patronal house, next to the palmento. Once the miller’s quarters, it’s now a cocoon of colour and craft, with hand-restored ceilings and terracotta floors. The geranium-print wallpaper is a nostalgic tribute to childhood summers and blooming balconies.

Eco Glamping
Each of the six eco-glamping tents is tucked between olive trees and positioned for maximum peace and privacy. Expect a shaded veranda, beautiful linens, and uninterrupted views of the Val di Noto’s gentle hills.

The Outdoor Area

The swimming pool is a showstopper: a red-and-white chequered homage to traditional Sicilian kitchen tiles, reinterpreted by designer Alessandro Enriquez. With geranium-print parasols and stylish sun loungers, it’s a playful yet refined spot to unwind and cool off. The atmosphere is relaxed and a little nostalgic—like an old family photo, come to life.

The Restaurant

Dodici Zappe is the estate’s culinary heart. Housed in a former 19th-century millstone, it’s an ode to rural memory and honest, soulful food. Chef Francesco Giura, trained in Michelin-starred kitchens, brings a refined touch to local ingredients and age-old recipes. Breakfasts are served here too, laid out across the old stone, with seasonal fruit, cheeses, and handmade pastries. Everything tastes better under these old beams.

You’re in the heart of the Val di Noto, one of Sicily’s most culturally rich and naturally beautiful areas. Think sun-drenched hills, honey-coloured baroque towns, and a coastline that still feels wild and untouched. Noto, Modica, and the beaches of Vendicari are all just a short drive away. But many guests never leave the property—it’s just that kind of place.

The closest airport is Comiso Airport, about 1 hour away by car. Catania Airport is also a convenient option, around 90 minutes away.

Nearest Train Station

The nearest train station is Noto, about 15 minutes by car.

Price Indication

Junior Suite Geranium ranges from €350 per night in low season to €450 per night in high season.

Deluxe Suite Tangerine starts at €400 in low season and goes up to €500 in high season.

Pool Suite Amare ranges from €500 to €750 in high season.

Regarding the Eco Glamping units, there are two categories: with and without hot tub.

Those without hot tub range from €320 in low season to €420 in high season.

Those with hot tub start at €370 and go up to €470.

These prices are per unit, per night, and include up to 2 guests. Any additional beds or baby cots are quoted separately.
