This place offers a different kind of luxury—a profound connection with nature, simplicity, and a sense of authenticity. It is not luxury in the conventional sense but the luxury of slowing down, finding serenity in unspoiled surroundings, and experiencing a place infused with love and care. Nestled in an eight-hectare olive and oak grove, this rustic retreat overlooks the rolling hills of the ‘macchia Mediterranea,’ with sweeping views that extend to the Tyrrhenian Sea. At night, the starry skies are incredible.

Itis perfect for those seeking an off-the-beaten-path experience, a harmonious blend of natural beauty, rich history, and heartfelt hospitality.

About

Located near the Etruscan hill town of Vetulonia, it is surrounded by history and natural beauty. From its cottages, guests can take scenic walks along ancient Roman roads, visit fascinating Etruscan archaeological sites, or immerse themselves in the vibrant daily life of an Italian village.

Andrea and Chandra, the warm and welcoming hosts, embody the soul of this beautiful place. Andrea, a fisherman by heritage, expresses his love for the sea through exceptional cooking, offering guests the freshest flavors of Tuscany. Chandra, an artist from Canada, brings creativity and charm through her ceramics, jewellery, and other handcrafted treasures, which are available in the shop. Together, they have created a retreat that feels like home, full of life, creativity, and connection.

Here it isn’t just about people—guests will also encounter donkeys, chickens, cats, and a variety of wildlife, adding to the charm of this active agriturismo.

Vetulonia — A Tuscan Jewel
