A noble past, lovingly restored
Right in the heart of Nardò’s historic centre, on the corner of Corso Garibaldi and Via Duomo, stands one of the city’s grandest private residences: Palazzo Manieri-Zuccaro. This stately home has witnessed centuries of southern Italian history—from its beginnings with the lords of Porsano, to its inheritance by the noble Tafuri family, and later the Zuccaros. The oldest parts of the building date back to the 16th century and are closely tied to the nearby Baroque Church of the Immacolata. The space
