A Refined 19th-Century Villa for Timeless Weddings

There are houses that feel as if they were waiting for you — this is one of them. Nestled in the heart of the rolling Piceno hills, this noble residence from 1844 sits midway between Ascoli Piceno and San Benedetto del Tronto, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, and the soft golden light that belongs only to central Italy.

Its story begins with a gesture of love: a nobleman commissioned the villa on this very hill so he could always see the home of the woman he adored in the valley below. Designed by architect Ignazio Cantalamessa and adorned with frescoes by Raffaele Fogliardi, the house has long been a meeting place of art, architecture, and emotion. Today, it remains in the family who have preserved its beauty and dignity, offering an extraordinary setting for weddings and celebrations that linger in memory.

The Space

Arriving here feels a little like stepping into a painting. Manicured gardens stretch across over 2,000 square metres, framing views of the valley and distant Apennines. Inside, frescoed salons, panoramic halls, and terraces unfold one after another, each space revealing a piece of the villa’s layered past.

For weddings and private events, the villa offers a variety of rooms, each with its own character and capacity:

Olympus Hall

Up to 50 guests
Originally used for gala events, the frescoed walls depict mythological stories and open onto a panoramic terrace. Every detail evokes a timeless atmosphere, allowing guests to feel suspended in a moment of pure elegance.

Partenope Room

Up to 25 guests
Entirely frescoed in trompe-l'œil style, this room creates a three-dimensional, theatrical effect. Secret passages and historical touches add an aura of mystery, making it perfect for intimate and exclusive celebrations.

Andromeda Room

Up to 35 guests
The frescoed ceiling tells the legend of Princess Andromeda, blending history and mythology. Ideal for receptions, meetings, or cultural events, it immerses guests in an atmosphere of storytelling and elegance.

Historic Cellar

Up to 50 guests
Once a storage space for wine and provisions, the cellar now serves as a warm, evocative setting for tastings, private dinners, and intimate events. Its rustic charm and soft lighting create a welcoming atmosphere for smaller gatherings.

Gardens & Outdoor Spaces

The villa’s gardens extend over 2,000 m², offering romantic walkways, shaded corners, and panoramic views — a natural stage for ceremonies, photo shoots, and moments of quiet reflection. The panoramic terrace, located on the piano nobile, accommodates up to 30 guests and is ideal for sunset aperitifs, private dinners, or simply taking in the unspoiled beauty of the Marche hills.

There even is a tiny private chapel within the villa with historical charm that makes any ceremony feel timeless.

What makes it so special

The villa is full of character and history — its charm lies in its authentic, lived-in feel. It may not be a perfectly polished luxury home, but every corner reflects its story and personality, from the slightly weathered shutters to the tiny chapel tucked upstairs. Staying here is an experience of genuine Italian heritage. It is both an elegant historic residence and a deeply personal space, where history feels alive and every detail — from the frescoed ceilings to the gentle creak of old parquet floors — tells a story.

There’s a quiet, unmistakable feeling of being somewhere truly timeless — a house built for beauty, for love, and for the simple pleasure of life well-lived.
