Little Gem No. 047 | *Bohemian Florence

Italy > Florence
users 2 bed 2 bath 1

This Florence residency has a bohemian vibe, perfect for anyone looking for artistic inspiration. The rooms are a mix of contemporary and vintage furnishings, giving them a unique and eclectic style. The building itself is a gorgeous 16th-century palace, just 30 meters from Florence’s iconic Duomo, Santa Maria del Fiore. It’s a great spot for people who love discovering one-of-a-kind places in a world that can sometimes feel too uniform.

The staircase is wide and beautifully crafted, with generously spaced steps that add to the charm. At the entrance, a stunning glass fixture lights up the whole building. Keep in mind, that there’s no lift, and the rooms are located either on the ground floor or on the second and top floors.

Let me paint the picture…

Imagine waking up in a room bathed in soft morning light, the sun streaming through tall windows framed by elegant curtains. The furnishings are a perfect mix of antique charm and contemporary comfort—an intricately carved wooden bed, a vintage armchair, and artwork that feels carefully chosen as if each piece has a story to tell. You spot a cozy reading nook in the corner, where a book and a steaming espresso would feel right at home.

Step out onto the balcony, and you’re greeted by the sights and sounds of Florence. Terracotta rooftops stretch out before you, and the faint hum of life from cobblestone streets below fills the air. The neighborhood feels like a slice of old-world Italy—artisan shops, a small grocery store, and the aroma of fresh pastries drifts from charming cafes just a few steps away.

As you venture out, the magic of Florence is right at your feet. Stroll through the heart of the city, where history and art come alive. The Uffizi Gallery, with its masterpieces, is only a short walk away, and Piazza della Signoria beckons with its timeless beauty. Along the way, you’ll discover tucked-away piazzas, lively gelaterias, and the undeniable romance of Florence’s streets.

Back at the residence, the garden offers a quiet retreat—a place to relax, reflect, and soak in the beauty of a city that seems to blend effortlessly with the rhythm of life here.
