The current custodian of this historic village house is Elena, her great-grandmother was born here in 1904 and lived in this home all her life. Aunt Gondina was a woman ahead of her time, she was not interested in becoming a housewife but instead traveled the world and had a successful career as a teacher for more than 40 years. The house was always filled with friends she met all over the world on her travels. Now the house is again filled with travelers. It still feels like you are home, there are only 14 personalized rooms, a beautiful courtyard garden with a pool, a bar, a wine cellar, and a private spa. In the morning they serve the most delicious breakfast, the perfect start to the day!

The Breakfast

Every morning the house is filled with the delicious smell of freshly brewed coffee, tea, espresso, and cappuccino. The pastry chef makes different cakes each day, which are served alongside Giorgio’s selection of freshly baked bread and cereals, marmalades, seasonal fruit, cured meats, and local cheeses in the gorgeous, bright breakfast room or the garden, during the summer season.

In summer time a light lunch can be enjoyed by the swimming pool side or in the courtyard garden (this service is provided from May until September).
