Felix & Luisa have known this house for more than 20 years since it belonged to Felix's family. Every summer, the dream grew bigger that they would like to start their journey in this special place. In 2022, they bought it and gave it lots of love and paint. Now it is a very special place, for everyone to enjoy.

The house is about 500 years old and made entirely from stone. Most parts and even the floorings are still original while others are newly renovated in a way to preserve its charms. The history and the pure presence towering over the valley give the house a special character - you will feel it once you step into it.

The Simple Life 

Guests can enjoy this beautiful home, a place for you and all your friends, with accommodation for up to 10 people. You can relish the experience of cooking together in the fully equipped kitchen, savoring meals on the rooftop terrace, and unwinding in five inviting bedrooms. The promise here is twofold: ample space for communal moments and peaceful corners for individual solitude, encapsulating the essence of the simple life.

Situated in the serene mountain village of "Erli," the home offers a tranquil retreat. Encounters will likely be limited to elderly neighbors and occasional passing hikers. Access to the house is by foot, a mere 5-minute walk from the parking area. Being the last property on the street, guests can relish the seclusion, gazing out over the valley and immersing themselves in the local ambiance. It's worth noting that, out of consideration for the neighbors, no parties are permitted.

Pizza Time

Pizza evenings are an absolute must at this beautiful home. On the rooftop terrace, you'll find a stone oven ready for you and your friends to use. You'll be responsible for the drinks, and they will supply you with the best recipe for the finest pizza dough. Then, you can relish the pleasure of crafting your very own signature pizzas, whether they be Margherita, Funghi, or Calzone! (Pro tip: consider making extra and taking them as a delicious beachside lunch the following day!)

The sea close by

Mare e Monti - "From Sea to Mountain", you'll find the best of two worlds. The sea is 12 km away, which is a 30-minute drive to the beautiful cities of Albenga or Alassio. Down there you can enjoy a café and the best ice cream on the beach, stroll around the medieval town, or enjoy an aperitif on the vivid piazza before heading out to one of the great seafood restaurants.

An insider tip: The Val Neva

The house is located in the beautiful Neva Valley. An area with ancient castles, picturesque villages, olive groves, and - of course - the river Neva. You will reach it within a 10-minute walk from the house to start the day off with a fresh sensation. Up the river, you will find waterfalls with deeper pools & lagoons where you can jump into the water or go for a swim. 

Eating out

Five minutes from the house you can enjoy simple, good Ligurian cuisine at "Da Lisetta" - including the best homemade Gnocchi with local pesto! In the small alimentari store next to it, you can get a fresh panini, focaccia, and everything that the local gardens provide - fresh fruits, vegetables, and eggs - as well as a good assertion of Piedmont cheeses and cold cuts.

Getting there

The house is located in Erli, a small village in the mountains. It is recommended to have at least one car up here for sightseeing trips or groceries. You reach the house by car or come by train or airplane and then take a rental car.

By train: Albenga Train Station (30 min drive by car)

By plane: Nice Airport or Genova Airport. (1,5 hours drive by car)
